About The Fashion Shows
Steampunk has such a unique and expressive sense of style, and dressing to the nines in steampunk attire is so prevalent in the steampunk community that we wanted to make sure you and your fabulous costume are seen! The fashion shows will be live-streamed and judged remotely by three online influencers in the cosplay and costuming world. There will be a total of 3 fashion shows: two for guests, and one for vendors, so everyone has a chance to strut their stuff!
Criteria:Â
Creative Use of Materials - Uses up-cycled materials or re-envisioned the use of an object to enhance their costume.
Costume Continuity - All the elements of the costume look like they belong together.
Overall Impact - Does the costume have the wow factor?
This year we will be having a youth under 14 fashion show promenade and an adult 15 and over show promenade.
Prizes: Each participant will receive a merch cart token with 1st, 2nd & 3rd prizes for the top three in each fashion show. First prize in the adult category is $100 in Cogs Cash, second prize is a $50 in Cogs Cash or $30 in Cogs Cash for third prize to be used at our vendors or participating stores.
First prize in the youth category is $60 in Cogs Cash, second prize is a $40 in Cogs Cash or $30 in Cogs Cash for third prize to be used at our vendors or participating stores.
To sign up you can either sign up before hand below, at the Merch Cart or when approached by the Fashion Show Volunteers.
